Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. She's best known for the roles she played in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful, This Is Where I Leave You. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actor in television and films. The roles she played in the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi drama Timeless made her a star. The native of Gulf Breeze Her first role was with soap opera All My Children. She won a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Best Female Newcomer. Following that she was mostly a guest on roles on several television series. Her performance was praised for the part she took on as Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and powerful acting abilities made her an ideal candidate for an ardent fan base. When she was about twenty-years old, her first film role was in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as along with Chasing Mavericks are the other movies in which she appeared. Her nomination was in the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her performance in the film Beautiful Now'. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's performance has resulted in her being nominated in the Teen Choice Award.
